SSFC student rebrands West Mercia Supplies' Livery

24 June 2009

West Mercia Supplies have launched their new look with help from SSFC art student Annie Keogh. Initially Annie's ideas were for the 2009-2010 catalogue but as WMS Managing Director Mike Phillips explains he saw a wider application for the innovative way Annie had shown everyday stationery products. 'I  was absolutely delighted with Annie's designs for our catalogue and saw immediately the commercial impact they would make. It was a simple step to ask Annie to make her new designs work on our lorries and the results look fantastic. Her work has helped bring a more modern and contemporary look to the organisation.'

The accolades for Annie's work continue with Renault Trucks Ltd, the manufacturer of the vehicles that WMS use, sending a specialist vehicle photographer to SSFC to take photos for their own promotional literature.

'This is a great example of how employers and SSFC can work together for mutual benefit.' commented Martin Ward, Principal. 'I look forward to many other opportunities for our students to gain experience of commercial environments and to make an impact in the community.'
