Main Building Centenary

On Wednesday 14th July, SSFC was pleased to host a 'Tea & Tour' to celebrate the centenary of the colleges' main building. Attended by over 50 ex 'boys' and 'girls' including some from the mid '30s, there was music from current students, an exhibition showing items from throughout the colleges' history and a lovely cream tea. Thank you to all those who attended and to those who sent items for the exhibition. Thanks also to Peter Neale of Priory School who kindly provided several of their archive documents and pictures including an honours board from when the site hosted both a girls and boys grammar school.

It is my intention to create from all the documents and memories received an archive which will be available through this website. All items donated for the event will be returned as soon as I can. Keeping checking the website to see what progress has been made.
