New Parent Governors Wanted

Updated - we are pleased to welcome Janet Barlow and Chris Rhomberg as Parent Governors.

Two new parent governors are required at college following two governors, Cathryn Hodges and David Kilby, finishing their term of office.

Papers have been sent out via tutorial with students but are also available below. Completed forms A and B should be returned to the Clerk to the Corporation, c/o Principal’s office at the College by 12 noon on Friday 15th October 2010.

Martin Ward comments 'The role of the parent governor is very important to the college. The different perspective that a parent can bring to the governance of the college is extremely valuable. Their voice often brings us back to the core purpose of the college which is to serve the needs of the learners. We have been blessed with two committed governors in recent years and I look forward to welcoming two equally talented parents to the board this term.”

More information on the role and make up of Governors at the college can be found on the Governance pages of this website. More on the role of Governors within colleges can be found here
