Succeeding at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College

We aim to challenge and stretch each individual so they succeed to the best of their abilities.

Your time at College will pass very quickly, you must therefore be committed to succeeding and must help yourself to make full use of the excellent facilities available. Study must be planned and there is always research, reading and review to be done when not in class. As a guide, for each study programme, you will be expected to match the time spent in class with an equivalent amount of time spent on individual study.

Subject staff and your personal tutor to help you to develop successful study methods and the Learning Centre and its staff will be there to help and support your learning.

Student Services is located in the Learning Centre and can provide you with information about all the College support services such as finance, study, counselling, careers and external advice agencies.
