Student Services

Most students stay only two years at college so it is very important to settle quickly into new routines, understand what to do and know where to get help and advice.

Student Services, located in the Learning Centre, is there to give you help when you need it. Our staff are friendly and approachable and can help with queries ranging from bus passes to finance and from lockers to exam certificates.

Student Services also houses a well-resourced Careers Centre with specialist staff who work closely with Connexions, enabling you to have the latest information on employment, HE, work experience and gap years. This, plus access to the internet, CDs, videos and a programme of visiting speakers helps you find the right route for you.

We also have a qualified counsellor who provides a confidential service for issues such as stress, relationships, personal development, bereavement and mental health. The College also has links with professional and voluntary support groups.
