Shrewsbury College is proud to celebrate the successes of our students who competed in the Senior Maths Challenge at the end of last year.

A total of 48 students took part, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
Of these 48 students, 4 received Gold, 11 Silver, 23 Bronze, and 10 obtained a Certificate of Participation. The four Gold award winners were subsequently invited to compete in the prestigious Senior Kangaroo, a follow‑on competition reserved for the top performers nationwide.
In the Senior Kangaroo round, our students continued to excel: three achieved the Certificate of Qualification standard, and one student received a Silver award. Award boundaries for this competition were 40+ for Bronze, 55+ for Silver, and 70+ for Gold.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all students who participated, especially Emma Hardman for her exceptional performance and well-deserved recognition.

The College is immensely proud of the dedication, resilience, and talent demonstrated by all participants. Their achievements showcase the strength of our mathematics provision and the enthusiasm and knowledge of our students.
